Dear Mom and Dad, Well this week has been a really good week. I did
learn quite a bit this week. Well my language is coming along always.
I am also understanding quite a bit more. It is feeling good to
being able talk with people about their lives with ease. It is still
hard but it is a lot easier now if I just open up a little. I also
did a lot of service. All in one day. So first we started mixing
cement for a returned missionary in our ward boundaries. That was
quite an experience. Well I learned how to make really terrible
cement. (It was filled with a lot of dirt) Well after that we went up
and carried huge barrels of water up the mountain. That was really
hard and my hands were exhausted. Well after that we went up and dug
into the side of a mountain so we could flatten it out for a ger.
That was also quite hard especially after all the other service. Then
after me and my companion decided to finish off a hard day with more
service just to finish it all in one day. So we went and tilled a
garden with the shovels. It was quite a fun experience When I got
home I was exhausted and absolutely filthy. It felt so good to go to
sleep that night. Well we also had some great times in my new area.
My area is a lot flatter than the other area which is really cool but
I don't feel as tired due to the fact that I am not walking up
mountains (hills) anymore. They are really steep hills though.
Anyway it has been a great day so far. We also went to a puzzle
museum this last week but I couldn't grab any pictures. It was still
fun anyway. So it sounds like everything is going good at home. It
got a little colder here too but it feels like it will warm up
quickly. Well I really do feel bad for Becky. She worked so hard for
that and I wish I was there so I could hug her and make her feel
better. (She is my sister so I think I am allowed to say that) :)
But I know she did good anyway. Well this week I have got the general
conference talks and they have been wonderful to read. I am just
enjoying myself so much reading them. I feel the spirit and it makes
me feel alive and want to go and help the whole world. Sometimes it
is hard being in Mongolia because I want to talk to everyone but I am
not allowed to. I just have to make sure I am representing Jesus
Christ all the time. I am just so happy for the gospel in my life.
If there is one thing I have seen here it is just how much the lack of
the spirit affects people. It just looks like they have no purpose in
life. I am just so grateful for the purpose I have in my life. With
the purpose in life it makes me look forward to the rest of it and
makes me think of the joy to come. I love you all and I thank you for
your prayers and examples. I love you and good luck.
Love,  Elder Williams

Dear Little Sisters,
So this week has been pretty good. So this week I went back to my old
area on a split and that was fun and I also managed to teach an
investigator the first lesson. That was really cool to see. Also two
days ago we did an entire day of service. That was pretty hard.
First we went and mixed cement for a returned missionary in our
branch. Let's just say that is was quite heavy. Next, we had an
elder from another branch call us for some help to carry some water
for some investigators. It ended up being really hard carrying up all
that water up the side of an mountain. Then the sisters called and
said they had a little service that some of their investigators
needed. So we went up to the side of the mountain and dug into it to
flatten the land out for a ger. Then finally at the end of the day we
went and helped a less active member with her garden. When we got
home we were so sore and exhausted. The good thing was that we
managed to get it all done in one day. SO that was the highlight for
my week. So Rachel, you are out of school. I hope you have a good
time and I also hope that you keep running. Being healthy is a good
thing to be!!! I know you are pretty much already healthy so know
that wasn't a fat joke. Also tell me how that book is that you are
reading. Well Caelen the six pack might happen if I put more will
into it. It is just so hard to get up in the morning and do sit ups.
By the way good job on giving a talk in sacrament meeting. I'm sure
you did great. I am really proud of you. So Rebecca, I admit what
happened to you really just made me depressed. I know how that would
have felt. I also would have felt just sad. Rebecca, just know that
it doesn't matter what the world thinks. First, Heavenly Father knows
who you are and your talents and that is more important than anything
else. Second, you know who you are and you know how hard you tried.
Even if others couldn't hear you, you sang your hardest and that is
what matters. Third, just know that people do know you are a
wonderful girl. Rebecca if there is one thing I could say to you I
would say that you are an example for so many people. It doesn't
matter if they couldn't hear you. Yes it would have been nice if you
had been able to have people hear you but know that the most important
people know who you are. Rebecca don't you worry about how people
look at you. But I do think that they look at you in a way you can't
even see. Just relax and know that Heavenly Father, our family, your
friends and me love you. Well little girls I love you all and I wish
that all of you will have a wonderful time. Just enjoy the summer and
don't stress. Just take a deep breath and keep on moving. I learned
that even if life feels like it is moving too fast all you have to do
is realize that life was meant to move forward. Without moving
forward we would never learn or progress. I love you and good luck.
Love Elder Williams

Dear Kristalyn,
Thank you so much for the email.  I hope you are having a good summer.
Please help Rebecca feel better.  I love all of you so much and when
something like that happens to one of you it almost wants to make me
cry.  Just comfort her and have fun with her.  So I am so grateful for
your example.  I really hope you are doing well at the temple.  The
joy involved in the gospel is just amazing.  I was reading the Liahona
today and it just made me look forward to sooo much of the blessings
ahead.  The blessings of a family, of raising children, of going to
the temple and much much more.  If you look at life in one aspect it
makes life look like a wonderful experience.  We just have to look at
the eternal perspective.  That is the most important thing.  I love
you and I miss you and I wish you luck.  by the way that picture of
Ulaanbaatar is actually a dust storm no clouds.  well good luck and I
love you.  Elder Williams

Dear Mom and Dad,
I am so glad to have been able to talk with you this week. I am
really grateful for that conversation. SO this week has been pretty
good. I really enjoy being with my new companion in a new area. It
has been really good there. My Mongolian is improving which is
always a blessing from god. I am just doing well here in Mongolia.
My last final to give is this Wednesday. I can't wait for that to be
over. It is a little stressful. SO also this week filmed me in like
a little interview and I think they are trying to show to other people
that their school has foreigners. They even filmed my old companion
who doesn't even teach there. It was really kind of funny though
because they are really just trying to make their college look really
good. I felt like me and him were talk show hosts. So anyway I am
forever in Mongolia on video which is kind of cool. So Mongolia is
still the same but now I am in more of a flat area. The new area is
really beautiful and I am going to get some pictures of it soon. Well
today has been kind of busy so sorry but i am sending Kristalyn some
more photos so you should be able to see those. Also Grandma thank
you for the letter. I am really glad to hear from you too. I am so
grateful for this gospel. Without this gospel we really couldn't be
happy in this life. That is what I feel and know to be true. I
thought about it (not that I have any doubts) and even if this gospel
wasn't true and would still be happy with my life because it truly
does bring more joy than anything else I've seen or experienced. I
guess that is one of that testimonies that tells us that it is true.
Well, I love all of you and I wish you all the best of luck.
Dear Little Sisters,
All of you commented on how skinny I've gotten. that is kind of weird.
Anyway so this week has been pretty good. I am right now with my
companion going to try and build up some better muscles. :)
Apparently from the other Elders I have gotten to know that I could
get a six pack if I worked hard. That is how much weight I have lost.
Anyway I will see. I might just get to lazy. So my new companion is
great and we are having a good time right now. My last English final
is this Wednesday so that should be fun. (I really hate cheaters)
Also my companion might possibly teach English at a new place so I get
to sit in the back and watch him teach. So this week sounds pretty
good back at home. Caelen, it sounds like you just need to rest that
hip of yours. Rachel, tech is really fun. I think you should like
it. Also enjoy the end of the year at school and most importantly
have a good summer. Well Rebecca I have wanted to see a solar eclipse
my whole life. It looks like you got that great opportunity. Hey you
just go and solo it up at the graduation for me okay? Hey girls I
love you and I wish you all the best of luck.

Dear Mom and Dad,
So first I will tell you about my week. So this week we were told
that sisters would move into our apartment and so what happened was
that we are now living with another two elders. We are all Americans
so we speak a lot of English but somehow my Mongolian is rapidly
improving. Also this week we met with a lot of investigators. My
little convert Anujin didn't come to church but her uncle did The
uncle seems to be a rough guy on the outside but really actually seems
interested in our church. He has already had some church contact and
we just want him to meet with us more which might be very possible.
Elder Verducso and me are doing fine but it is getting hot and so that
means that wearing the suit coats is a little harder. So I will be
skyping at 9:45 in the morning here and that means that you will be
getting the call at 7:45 in the evening. Be waiting a little early
just so we won't have scheduling problems. Well the English is almost
done for the summer which should be a nice break. So HAPPY BIRTHDAY
DAD!!!! I hope I could get enough emotion through the computer.
There is one thing I can't believe. I still can't believe that Trent
and Mckay are waiting for there calls. It is so weird. Wish them
good luck for me. They are making the best decision of their lives.
Well it sounds like the new lawn mower is pretty good. Don't let Mom
get too crazy with the garden though. :) The thing I learned the
most this week was that I can speak this language better and better.
I just need to relax and just say what the spirit directs me to do.
Well other than that this week has been just a good week. I really
don't have a lot to say other than that the weather is getting really
nice but also really dusty. I am just trying to be a good missionary.
By the way I put in a lot of miles myself here when it comes to
walking in the mission field. But I think I will pass on the 50 miler
because we all know that it will turn out to be about 70. Well I love
you all and I hope that all of you are having a great spring. Love
Elder Williams

Dear Little Sisters,
SO this week has been pretty good. My language skills are really
starting to get better which is always a good thing. So it sounds
like all of you are having a great time with school getting out and
all. Rachel, it sounds like you are doing great. I am also glad you
get to go to the temple again because at the temple we can truly feel
the Holy Ghost. The thing I would ask you to do is go to the temple
with a question in your mind. If you go with a question the Holy
Ghost is so strong that you will be able to find the answer to it.
That is what I always enjoyed. The peace in the temple is something
that can not be duplicated anywhere. No man made contraption or
theory or anything else can bring peace into your life like the temple
can. By the way, great job on the math. Before you know it you can
teach Rebecca and Caelen math :) So Caelen, I still have lost a
little "wait" Actually not that much but I actually like it off.
Yeah that super hero thing sounds great but Mistborn is better and we
both know it. :) Well I hope you are having a good time and I would
ask a favor from you. Draw a picture about your favorite Book of
Mormon example (make it really good) and send it in my next package
with a reason of why that is your favorite prophet missionary or etc.
I would like to show the people I teach and I will translate what you
write. In fact, all of you girls do that for me. So Rebecca, I am so
glad to have heard from you. I can't believe that Jamie is home. It
seems just like a few months ago that she left. I am also glad you
have been thinking about what the gospel has done for you. It is
amazing how much we don't see when it is right in front of our noses.
The peace in our family life can not be found anywhere but only
through the gospel. Also don't worry about that AP Psych test. It is
not hard especially with as hard as you studied. So the thing I would
tell you to do is don't stress. If you stress you lose things. Also,
don't stress about trying to be not stressed. :) If you relax
everything will work out. So girls this week has been good and I am
really happy for you. I am still trying to get Anujin baptized but
she didn't come to church this last week but her uncle did. That
would be really cool if we could get her uncle baptized. Anyway we
are trying and she will be baptized eventually. So all of you girls
thank you for your support and just remember that life is good. Hey,
good luck and have a good day!!! Remember that happiness is YOUR
decision. Well I love you. PS see you in a week!!
Love Elder Williams

Kristalyn,
Sorry I will absolutely remember pictures next time.  Well Kristalyn
the first thing I can tell you is that the first problem is that
saying that you damaged that friendship in the first place.  It is all
about attitude.  There is a very simple answer to your problem.  Just
forget it.  Well I know that everything will work out for your good.
So the love for the people is quite an interesting thing.  You don't
feel it until you think about going and leaving and that is when I am
beginning to become depressed that I will leave here one day.  I am
really going to miss this place.  So I will see you in a few days on
skype which will be fun.  Hey just have a good day and remember that
life isn't that bad if you are grateful for everything you have.

Dear Mom and Dad,
This week has been a really good week so far and I am just trying to learn Mongolian.  So, this week I went on an exchange with an elder in my district and though he is older than me he still struggles with the language more than I do.  So that meant that I was really having to talk a lot.  So this week I pretty much taught 3/4 of the lesson and I did really good through the Lord's help.  I pretty much taught the whole lesson by myself and I extended her the baptismal commitment.  She will hopefully be baptized in 2 weeks but if it is a little longer that is still okay.  So I guess what I learned this week is that even though I this language is one of the hardest in the world I can still be a tool in the Lord's hands to teach people.  I also felt the spirit testifying through me when I was teaching which was a really special experience for me.  I really enjoyed that lesson and I hope I can have another one like it.  I guess my Mongolian has improved quite well lately do to the fact that it is getting easier to communicate with people.  So I am glad to hear about the family back home.  I also am grateful for the scriptures you sent me mom.  They are really good and I can't believe I missed them when I was reading there.  I guess that goes to show that the spirit can guide you to the things that we specifically need to learn in the scriptures.  Lately I have noticed that if I come with a question in my mind before I read my scriptures I really learn so much more and the answer to my question is always found.  I have found so much peace out of the scriptures and I will forever use them to find my answers.  Well Dad, thank you for the story.  I really hope everything works out.  I hope that you can see them again.  I know that this will be a great moment for the family if you can all meet again.  The Lord's plan for families is one of happiness and I just can't wait for the happiness to come if this all works out.  Well Mom and Dad, I am doing fine here and I just hope all of you are having a good day.  PS.  Sorry about the pictures I forgot my cord but I will send them next time.  I know that this is probably getting annoying and for that I am sorry but I will send them eventually and.  Well I love all and good luck.  Elder Williams

Dear Little Sisters,
WHEN I AM GONE, DON'T GROW UP AT ALL!!!!!  Just kidding.  Well Caelen it sounds like you are having a good week this week.  Also good luck on finding that math assignment.  Chi chadna.  (You Can!)  Anyway so yeah just remember all the really good days and remember the really good days that will come probably tomorrow.  Every day is a good day if you make it that way.  So Rachel, you little reader you!  I am glad you enjoy the book series.  That sounds really awesome.  Also I am proud of you for enjoying helping Sister Woolsey.  It sounds like you helped her a lot.  Remember that service is the key to making yourself happy.  So Rebecca, this David guy sounds like he is okay.  I think I might give you permission to go on another date.  I am still deciding so don't rush.  Also you got like the coolest solo in the world!!!!  I am so proud of you.  Send me a recording.  Also good job on getting your young womens' Medallion.  You are doing what the Lord wants you to do.  So this week was pretty good.  It did get cold again but I will eventually be 100 % warm.  So we managed to meet with a lot of investigators and this week I pretty much taught an entire lesson by myself in Mongolian which was a really good confidence booster for me.  I taught our little investigator Anujin and I also set her baptismal date if she prepares like she needs to.  I felt the spirit so strong that lesson. It was like a constant warm burning in my heart.  I really enjoyed it and when the lesson was over I was just so .......joyful I guess.  It was really cool and spiritual.  I just hope she can be baptized before I leave this area.  Well I will just keep working hard and I hope you are all having a good time.  Well I wish you all good luck.  Bi ta nart khairtai shuu.  I Love you all.  amjilt khusie.  Good luck.  ta narin shaltgaalt amarkhan baikh bolho!!  Your tests will be easy.   Don't worry.  Elder Williams

Dear Kristalyn,  Thank you for the skype account.  I am doing good so far and don't worry about me I am having a good time.  So I have only had 1 convert and I haven't baptized anyone and I haven't seen any really big miracles but the one thing I learned is that there are small miracles going on around us each day.  Often times we are peoples miracles and we don't even realize it.  I just learned the secret is watching for these little things.  It doesn't matter if we are missionaries or members but these things are happening all the time.  I also am amazed at what the Lord has made.  It is just breathtaking sometimes and we are only seeing a little part of it.  And he made it all for us.  He loves us so much that he created some of the most beautiful things for you and I to see.  Well good luck and I hope you are doing well.  Also keep going and watching star wars for me.  :)  Well I love you.  Love Elder Williams
